What is Processed Dry Fodder (Dry Forage)?
In general parlance, Dry Fodder or Dry Forage includes agricultural hay, husk, straw, and pulp. These materials are naturally bulky and lightweight, which makes them highly volumetric cargo during transit. As a result, transportation and logistics costs rise significantly. After extensive research and development, Yembroos Animal Feeds India Private Limited has developed an advanced production methodology that reduces the volume of dry forages to a highly compact form — without compromising nutritional value or feed efficiency.
How the Dry Fodder is Produced?
Stage-1: Different types of agricultural hay and straws are passed through a High-Temperature Thermal Cooking System, where the forage is fully moisturized and cooked.
Stage-2: The cooked forage is then powdered into a fine, uniform particle size.
Stage-3: The powdered forage is re-cooked at a comparatively lower temperature, ensuring proper texture, digestibility, and safety.
Stage-4: In the post-cooking stage, the material is transferred to High Compression Dryers, reducing the moisture level to below 10%, making it stable and long-lasting.
Stage-5: After de-humidification, the material is processed through surface-tension homogenizing systems to achieve a perfectly uniform and balanced final product.
Stage-6: The homogenized processed fodder is finally packed in 39 kg PP bags, ensuring excellent transit and storage handling.
